Becc Ország is a finalist in the 2018 Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing with her drawing 'Fragmentation of Mind (be still/withdraw)' 2017. The Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing is a $25,000 acquisitive art award among the most significant of its kind in the country. 44 finalists have been selected from close to 500 entries from artists across Australia by Judge, Ms Anne Ryan, Curator Australian Art, Prints and Drawings Art Gallery of New South Wales. The official opening and announcement will be held at 7.00 pm Friday 2 March at Adelaide Perry Gallery. The Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing finalists exhibition continues until March 29.

The natural world is a place of extremes – it can be a landscape of fury, of the unforgiving, of the merciless, or the untameable. Yet it is also an environment that can be harnessed - where crops are sown and gathered, where the weather can be predicted, where its mountains and oceans can be traversed. This exhibition brings together represented artists of FLG and selected guest artists who create works on paper within their practice. Whether they’re from drawing, painting or printmaking backgrounds, these artists produce incredibly beautiful and contemporary collectable artworks.

This Wild Song (TWS) is a series of over 150 portraits and interviews with Australian women visual artists who have a unique voice by photographer Ilona Nelson.

TWS celebrates the strong female leaders in the arts community. Although the artists being featured are from varying backgrounds, use a diverse range of mediums, and are at different stages of their arts career; they are unified by their unique voices and distinct style. The inclusion of so many artistic mediums in TWS offers a broad synopsis of contemporary Australian art. Selected from over 850 entries, the finalists exhibition will present a diverse range of paper media and industry techniques, including drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, paper cuts and video.
